Received a cold call to attend  presentation for a holiday packages with promise of free gift

Attended presentation and was attended by a sales person that walked as through the scheme

Was informed that the membership would likely go up in value and could be sold as it was a limited in nature

Salesperson subsequently brought in his manager offered a sweetener in form of a discount to $10,800. He further offered the ability to pay for the package in 2 installment of $5,400

Was told that offer must be taken today

Total time spent was close to 2 hours

IN 2011 received a call from another company offerng to sell the membership. I had to pay remaining $5,400 to be able to sell the membership

No further contract since then .
