In 2004, my wife and i were invited to a presentation where we were promised a gift in return for staying for a presentation about Travel Club.

After the presentation, we were told to sit through a sales talk with a sales executive or we would not received the gift. This sales executive delayed us and would not allow us to leave without going through everything.

We were told that we cannot take time to consider and that we must buy now. They then started to negotiate with us giving us discount.

We were told this was an investment and the value would increase also that we could sell it when it appreciates in value.

Within 2 days at paying the deposit i called and asked for a refund but was threatened with legal action if i did not pay in full. After that we visited many other companies to try to resell. However each company asked us for money so we refused.

The above is at the best of my knowledge
